NAMBA 69 (Number Sixty Nine) is a Japanese melodic punk band. Members: Akihiro Namba, K5, Ko-hey, Sambu. When Akihiro Namba started his solo project in 2010, K5 was his first choice on the guitar. They actively started playing big festivals like Fuji Rock Festival. In 2013, they officially announced a new single called "Melodic Punks Not Dead!!!" under the band name NAMBA69. They released their debut album in December 2014, "21st Century Dream".
In 2015, NAMBA69 won the Red Bull Battle of the Bands contest to produce their next album at Red Bull Studios Tokyo, the former site of Red Bull Music Academy. In 2019, Namba69 have announced a release date for their upcoming second full length entitled Changes. The record will hit shelves May 15 featuring 14 brand new songs.
S.M.N. (S.M.N.) is a Japanese rock band formed in Fukuoka Prefecture in 2001.
G-FREAK FACTORY is a 4 piece band from Gunma Prefecture. Formed in 1997 in Gunma, Japan. Kyuso Nekokami is a Japanese punk rock band that formed in 2009. It was made up of students from Kwansei Gakuin University's music club in Nishinomiya. After finding it difficult to find full-time employment, the members decided to form the band.
In 2010, the band started performing at live houses across the Kansai area. In March 2012, they released their first album Jūdai de Dashitakatta, followed by Daiji na Oshirase in December. They entered the Rockin' On Japan web competition Ro69Jack 2011, and were one of 14 prize winning bands.

Sambomaster is a Japanese rock band signed by Sony Music Japan. The band's name Sambomaster refers to the Russian martial art called Sambo. The band has 3 members: Takashi Yamaguchi: Vocal - Guitar , Yoichi Kondo: Base - Chorus,Yasushi Kiuchi: Drum - Chorus.
Lead vocalist and guitarist Takashi Yamaguchi first met drummer Yasufumi Kiuchi a few years back, at a university music club they were both members of. The duo ran into bassist Yoichi Kondo during February 2000, and the three went on to officially form the band now known as Sambomaster.

Super Beaver (stylized as SUPER BEAVER) is a Japanese rock band formed in 2005. They are most well known for their song Shinkokyū (深呼吸), which was used as an ending theme for the fifth season of Naruto Shippuden, and their song Rashisa (らしさ), which used as an opening theme for Barakamon in 2014.

They released their first studio album "The Artificial Theory for the Dramatic Beauty", through Zestone Records in 2009, and their second studio album "The Dream, The Space" in 2011 through Tragic Hero Records. Crossfaith then released their second EP "Zion" in September 2012, this acted as a promotional release to countries outside Japan.
In an interview with DEAD PRESS! in April 2017, the band confirmed that they had two new singles ready for release for the summer, and that they planned to release a follow-up full-length to "Xeno" in 2018.
Dizzy Sunfist (Dizzy San Fist) is a rock band from Osaka Prefecture formed in 2008. CAFFEINE belongs to BOMB ORGANICS. The band, consisting of Ayapetta (guitar/vocals), Iyama (bass/vocals), and Moai (drums), put their first demo together in 2009, their first mini-album in 2013, and their debut full album in March last year.
Japanese-pop punk trio Dizzy Sunfist released their first single and their second live DVD simultaneously on April 5th, 2017. The single, The Dream Is Not Dead, features four songs. The live DVD, Dizzy Beats DX, features footage from their Dizzy Beats Tour finale at Big Cat Osaka, as well as all of the music videos the band has released to date. Interestingly, the band members have penned some tunes in English.

The BONEZ are influenced by different types of music including hardcore, alternative, electro, folk and urban hip-hop. In September 2013, they changed their band name to “THE BONEZ”, moving from being JESSE’s solo project to more of an actual band.
ZUZU left the band after the second album was completed. Then NAKA (formerly of RIZE) joined the band at their October 14 concert. In November, JESSE, T$UYO$HI, ZAX, and NAKA announced the new logo for “The BONEZ”. It is an overlapping “N” design that symbolizes positions of the four band members.
The BONEZ released their second album, “Astronaut”, on January 22, 2014. A special limited edition containing fan-coveted material, a CD+DVD limited edition, and a regular edition CD version were made available. The band then went on an album release tour called “Astro Tour 2014” from February 18 to April 12.
The BONEZ hit 19 locations in Japan. The 20th location was a “one-man” concert called “The ONE”, which was released as a concert DVD. In July, they released “Place of Fire”, which was their first release since NAKA joined the band, and a concert DVD called “Astro Tour 2014 ‘The ONE’”. The BONEZ then started a “one-man” tour of Tokyo/Nagoya/Osaka, called “Astro Tour ‘ONE MAN SHOW’”, on December 4.

Coldrain (コールドレイン , Kōrudorein, stylized as coldrain) is a Japanese metalcore band from Nagoya, formed in 2007. The band mixes melodic singing with screams typical of the post-hardcore genre. Although the band is Japanese, all their songs are written in English. Masato (lead vocals), has a Japanese father and an American mother and speaks both Japanese and English. After the first two albums, Final Destination and The Enemy Inside, which were only released in Japan, the group made its worldwide debut in 2014 with the album The Revelation, released by Hopeless Records and Sony.
After the disbanding of the bands Wheel of Life (RxYxO, Sugi and Y.K.C.) and AVER (Masato and Katsuma), coldrain was formed in 2007 in Nagoya with Masato on vocals, RxYxO (Ryo) on bass guitar, Katsuma on drums, and Y.K.C (Yokochi) and Sugi on guitars. The common musical interest of the members was one of the decisive factors for the forming of coldrain. Once when AVER and Wheel of Life first co-debuted on stage, and AVER heard Sevendust's song played during Wheel of Life's rehearsal, an excited Katsuma asked RxYxO, "Don't tell me you're a fan of Sevendust as well!?" Thereafter, each time they interacted, they wanted to form a new band together. RxYxO was originally doing the vocals, but turned bassist because of coldrain. The band gained their first followers from performing as a local band in their home-town while distributing demo discs after each performance.
About a year after coldrain formed, they were offered and later signed a major contract with VAP, after which the band released its debut maxi single "Fiction" on 5 November 2008. They then set off for their first nationwide tour and played in 30 venues across Japan.
After the tour, the group released their next maxi single: "8AM". The limited edition included a DVD which featured the music video of the title song and three live videos: "Fiction", "Painting", and "Come Awake". "8AM" was also used as a theme song to the anime series Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger. In 2009, saw their first performance at the Summer Sonic Festival 2009. In October, they released their first album Final Destination and embarked on another successful sold-out nationwide tour.
Survive Said the Prophet is a Jrock band that formed in Tokyo in 2011. The band name is often shortened to サブプロ (SabuPro) or even SSTP. The members consist of vocalist Yosh, guitarist Tatsuya, drummer Show, bass and screamer Yudai and guitarist Ivan. All members were previously apart of other bands. Their interesting combination of cultural backgrounds, together with the variety of experiences they’ve had with music, allows Survive Said the Prophet to bring a hard-hitting yet melodious sound to their music. This rock band must also be credited for working around the clock – only having just released their 2nd EP in early May, they released yet another single right after the tour final.

HEY-SMITH is a Japanese punk band from Osaka that has been quickly gaining attention in music scene over the past few years.
The band was formed in Toyonaka Osaka Japan in 2006.

The band has toured with No Use For a Name, Less Than Jake on their Japanese tours and also performed on the “Rookie a go-go” stage at Fuji Rock Festival in July 2010.

Shima is a Japanese band formed in February 2009 Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, formed as a member of the light music club at Kyushu Kyoritsu University. After the first live, Akio Mizoguchi (ex. PEACE MAKER) who was deep in friendship officially joins. The first live held the 2 days voluntary event "JOINT SOULS" in June of the same year mobilized over 300 people on both days.

Backdrop Cinderella is a Japanese indie rock band active in Tokyo.
Formed in Ikebukuro in 2006, Backdrop Cinderella play an eccentric, fast-paced brand of punk rock that combines influences from ska, metal, Irish and folk music with some truly ridiculous lyrics. He won the Grand Prix at a violin competition in Florida three years in a row when he was a junior high-school student. But then he was very much into playing the guitar in his junior-high and high school years, and that brought him to Japan when he was 19 years old. During the days as a guitarist, he first met a studio percussionist KAKUEI (plays the conga, bongos, steel drums, timbales, paticas, and so on). Immediately they became close friends as they found out that they had a mutual friend. They had enjoyed jam sessions at home since then. In 2004, at a gig, MARTIN met TOSHI-LOW who’d become another vocalist and the guitarist of OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND later.
OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND was formed from their relationship. MARTIN called KAKUEI to join, and TOSHI-LOW called MAKOTO (bass), RONZI (drums), and KOHKI (guitar) who were the remaining members of his own band BRAHMAN. The band was formed in June 2005, after a year when MARTIN and TOSHI-LOW first met.
One day TOSHI-LOW received an offer to put a track into an omnibus album celebrating the tenth anniversary of 7STARS, a graphic designers’ office in Tokyo; the album entitled “The Basement Tracks -10YEARS SOUNDTRACK OF 7STARS” (2005). The work on it was their first studio recording, and the band performed their first show in September, 2005. They released their first album “OVERGROUND ACOUSTIC UNDERGROUND” on July 12, 2006. After that album they participated in big summer rock festivals in Japan such as FUJIROCK FESTIVAL and ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL and in September they went on their first tour in Japan. They vigorously performed on several festivals after then.

Formed in 2012. The group now consists of song and lyrics writer Daisuke Goto, Naoyuki Yosa, Masayoshi Kamimori, Akinari Hotta, and a new vocalist miu, who joined in September 2018. The feature is the dreaming sound created by the mixture of various acoustic instruments and electronic sounds, and also by the mixture of Icelandic music, which is the root of the band, and Japanese music. Also, the members do not have their own decided parts. Their style is to play and sing with their free imagination. They first performed in “Waon Festival” in 2012, released their 1st ep “hand in hand” in 2013. After numbers of self-organized concerts and song making, the 1st album 余暇と祝祭 was released, and one-man live concert was held to celebrate its release. In the same year, they attended GO OUT JAMBOREE fes, and then released 2nd ep “Dreaming” in Tower Records Shibuya in 2017. They also released a limited-time single “and love” in Christmas in 2017. Their live performances and songs are created by adding strings and horn support members. The band was named after an author of picture books, Chris Van Allsburg, and an artist, Joseph Cornell.

Hiromasa Yamakawa (Yamakawa Hiromasa, May 11, 1965-) is a Japanese musician and music instructor. Former THE BOOM bassist.
In 1986, he formed THE BOOM with Kazufumi Miyazawa, Takashi Kobayashi and Takao Tochigi. On May 21, 1989, you made a major debut as a TV girl. Since then, the band has released 35 singles and 14 original albums.
In February 2014, he developed "fulminant type 1 diabetes". On December 17, the same year, Nippon Budokan's performance was released and THE BOOM was dissolved.
On January 1, 2015, all members formed the band “1-GATA” with type 1 diabetes, and debuted as a leader and base.
SAIRU is an instrumental band from Tokyo, Japa. They formed in 2006, the group consists of five members where each individual was influenced by different genres of music.

In January 2009, Toki and Kaze joined as guitarist and bassist respectively, later the band released their debut four-track EP Dear Slave on November 7. Kaze left in December, and drummer Aruto joined in January 2010. March saw the return of Sawa on bass and around this time Aldious formed their own record label, Bright Star Records.

Sampras held the all-time record of seven Wimbledon Men's Singles titles with William Renshaw until 2017 when Roger Federer won his 8th title. Sampras also won five US Open titles, a joint Open-era record shared by Roger Federer and Jimmy Connors, and two Australian Open titles. His 14 Grand Slam titles were a record, surpassed when Federer won his 15th Grand Slam title at the 2009 Wimbledon Championships and later also by Rafael Nadal at the 2017 French Open and Novak Djokovic at the 2019 Australian Open. Sampras won 64 singles titles. He first reached world No. 1 in 1993, and held that position for a total of 286 weeks (second behind Federer 310 weeks as No. 1 player), including a record six consecutive year-end No. 1 rankings from 1993 to 1998. In 2007, he was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
Sampras was born in Washington, D.C., the third child of Soterios "Sammy" and Georgia (née Vroustouris) Sampras. His mother emigrated from Sparta, Greece, and his father was born in the United States to a Greek father, Costas "Gus" Sampras and a Jewish mother, Sarah Steinberg. He attended regular services of the Greek Orthodox Church on Sundays. At the age of 3, he discovered a tennis racket in the basement of his home and spent hours hitting balls against the wall.
In 1978, the Sampras family moved to Palos Verdes, California, and the warmer climate there allowed the seven-year-old Sampras to play tennis throughout more of the year. From early on, his great idol was Rod Laver, and at the age of 11, Sampras met and played tennis with the legend. The Sampras family joined the Jack Kramer Club, and it was here that Sampras's talent became apparent. As a teenager, Sampras trained with tennis coach Robert Lansdorp.
