Jun Sugawara was graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, completed the Graduate School of Opera. From autumn 1999, studied abroad in Berlin as an overseas dispatcher of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. He entered the graduate school of Berlin Hans Eisler College of Music and completed the graduate school with the best results. In the summer of 2000, he passed the role of Figaro in the Reinsberg Music Festival “Seville's Barber” and has since performed in Europe as well as in Europe.
In Japan, he performed in the second quarter performances “Marriage of Figaro” (earl), “Komori” (Eisenstein), “Turandot” (Pin), “Magic Flute” (Papageno), etc. In 2003, he won the Goto Memorial Foundation Opera Newcomer Award. He participated in numerous concerts and recordings as a member of Bach Collegium Japan, and was also a soloist for “Messiah”, “Matthe Passion”, “John Passion”, “Carmina Burana”, “German Requiem”. Second term membership. Member of the Japan Vocal Academy. Part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts.
