Naoya Hozumi is beginning ballet at the Kitai Miyoko Ballet Research Institute since childhood. After studying at the New National Theater Ballet Training Center, he joined the New National Theater from 2010/11 season.

He is also focusing on choreography activities, and he has published numerous choreography at the New National Theater's choreographer development project.
